Arm/Hand Progress

The profile cut plate parts are done - big thanks to Evolution Engineering. This included a couple of extra plate I’ll use to improve my chin-up/pull-up performance, something I’m struggling with right now.

From here, these plates will be sent off to Kynaston Engineering for post processing. With some luck we could see the whole set of arm/hand parts back soon to begin testing, and importantly practise on the bike.

To cover all of my bases, I’m having a second hand fabricated by Dan over at DJ Design & Engineering - this hand uses a different quick release and will be all aluminium.

In the meantime, I’ve been use using the 3D printed arm/hand assembly to ride the WR and the mountain bike. This hand is light years ahead of the “ball & cup” type I’d been using up until now. This arrangement feels far more natural and allows for a far greater range of movement. I can stand up on either bike easily among other things.

No updates on the shock absorber as yet.
